Reverend Glenn L. Jones

Rev. Glenn L. Jones, minister, educator, musician, published composer/arranger, is a native Californian born in Los Angeles, November 3, 1949.

Rev. Jones has conducted numerous church music workshops and seminars throughout the United States as well as in Japan. Rev. Jones has served on the music faculty in various colleges and universities including: The University of California at San Diego; Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, OH and Cypress Community College, Cypress, CA. For 24 consecutive years Rev. Jones served on the music staff at the Hampton University Ministers’ Conference and Choir Directors’ and Organists’ Guild Workshop, Hampton, VA. For 18 consecutive years, Rev. Jones served as the organizing Music Director of the Flakes-Hynson School of Sacred Music (1990-2008), a component of the E.C. Morris Ministers’ Institute at Arkansas Baptist College, Little Rock, AR, where he also served as Chair of the Division of Fine Arts. Rev. Jones is  CEO of Tehillah International Ministries; published composer with GIA Publishing Co., Mark Foster Publishing, Hal-Leonard Publishing and is an active member of The National Association of Negro Musicians, Inc. (NANM),  Founder of the Edna Hammett Porter Music Association, a Los Angeles Branch of NANM.

Rev. Jones has served the following churches: Minister of Christian Education and Music, Miracle Missionary Baptist Church, Los Angeles, CA; Minister of Christian Education and Music, Calvary Baptist Church, San Diego, CA; ; Pastor of Worship and Music, Third Baptist Church, Toledo, OH; Director, Cathedral Choir, Second Baptist Church, Los Angeles, CA; Assistant to the Pastor, Greater New Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, Detroit, MI;  Senior Pastor, Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, San Diego, CA; Temporary Supply Pastor, Westminster Presbyterian Church, Los Angeles, CA;

Rev. Jones currently serves as Pastor of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, USA, Los Angeles, CA.

Rev. Jones holds a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Ministries and Church Music from Ashland Theological Seminary, Ashland, OH.
